Assisted adults with special needs and disabilities with everyday activities like work, driving them to appointments and taking them shopping.  Helping to assist with personal cares and personal goals.  Also gave clients there meds and documented meds. Also documented personal goals and daily t-logs.  This by far was my favorite place to work, I enjoyed the people I worked with the clients are amazing and it felt so good to go to work and create such good relationships

Staff Development

All staff shall have an orientation period consisting of related job duties, the different developmental disabilities and related conditions, resident programs and activities, and the organization’s operating procedures.

From time to time. Lakes Homes may arrange to have both formal and informal training programs to enable employees to progress in their technical knowledge of our business.

Effective August 1, 2011

All applications for positions involving direct contact with our clients will require the applicant to pay for a criminal background study after your initial interview to determine if you're eligible for a position with Lakes Homes.

Your cost to initiate the Net study is $42.00. If you require fingerprinting it will cost an additional $9.50.

The background study will be completed at Lakes Homes office.  You may pay with a Visa or MasterCard debit or credit card or cash.  Payment is required at the time the study is registered with the Department of Human Services.

These disqualifiers would prevent you from working at Lakes Homes.  If you have any questions as to whether you should proceed with your application process, please feel free to ask.  Submitting a background application does not guarantee a job offer.
